J-man you already have the answer in front of you, re-routing wires won't help. just put in a new chain, gear combo with the tensioner, D/C uses the same chain gear combo in the Magnum 8's BUT the cam is closer to the crankshaft in the 6 thus leaving the chain sloppy. that is what you are hearing, the sloppy chain rattling back and forth. this has been discussed on several other threads on here and has been answered before, so there is answers, you just won't accept what they are.
