know its a bit late to help on this one, but thought I would post comments regardless.

I have a 2001, and the hub assembly was a b1atch to seperate. They basically rust together with the knuckle assembly after a very short time.

Once I got ahold of a good snap on chissel and a 20lb sledge... she popped off with enough elbow grease. Make sure you clean it up, remove the rust and put some anti seize between the pieces for next time you have to pull it all apart!

Just wondering if anyone has tried to take the old bearings out of the hub and replace it with new bearings without having to buy the whole hub assembly..It would save a pretty penny by doing this. If so, how did you do it?/?/?

thanks
