Message: Well lets see here i have a 99 club cab 3.9L and i bought it used at a chevy dealership back in sep. and 2weeks after i bought it the front trans seal had to be replaced for free at the chevy dealership. When i left there i got rearended at mcdonalds now i have a small dent in the bumper and i got $550 out of it.I have put 10,000miles on it and it needs the lower and upper ball joints on the left side. The hole bottom of the truck is all rusted(frame, exhuast, rear axle u name it).Had to change the spark plugs last week and they were rusted in so it took about 2hours to do.Im pretty sure it needs lifters too.And now when i do a left turn and hit the gas it jurks and the front end gos down like youy are hiting the brake.Had to have front brake pads and rotors replaced 3months after i got it.And rear brake cyls. Its a good thing i have a ext.warr. because it looks like im going to need it.If anyone lives in indianapolis and knows of bradley chevy dont ever buy a car there, this is my 2nd car and it seems like its going the same way.I had a ford taurus before my dakota and it was in the shop every week no joke.If anyone has one of these and you are having any kind of problem drop me a email i could probly tell you whats wrong. If anyone knows why its jurking when i trun left please let me know. And what i might want to know when i hit higher miles. Thanks

Message: GM and Ford have even more problems with PowerTrain then Dodge. So unless you plan on buying a Toyota I would keep the Dodge. Check Alldata to see what TSB's and Recall different companys have for their 2001,2002 trucks. When looking at TSB's ignore things like revised paint codes, revised dealer prep sheet...... just look for anything that would keep you from useing the vechile!
