I just took my 98 Dakota to the shop today for the first time. I had been having trouble with it the engine dying when first started. Would use the first charge of gas then die off. Anyway, the dealer fixed it very quickly by applying a software patch to the computer that had been created specifically for this. Does it seem odd to anyone that this would be consumer responsibilty to pay for instead of a recall? Does anyone have a Dodge corporate email address?
