Does anyone know if the Durango has all these brake and rotor problems? If the Durango Brakes are bigger and better then why don't we all just swap those in. My wife's mom has a Durango with the 5.9 and she hasn't had a single problem and she even had a front end collision and still doesn't have any problems with her brakes and rotors. And on top of that, her freaken Durango doesn't even make that anoying sound when you turn left or right. What gives.
Anyone have any info in regards to this?

Our 94 dakota had a front end collusion and had 10 000 miles on it. now it has 100 some thousand miles on it now haven't had a problem with the brakes or front end noise.

ive just had my calipers and pads replaced on my 2000 durango and i get a loud rubbing sound on my drivers side wheel what could it be

Take it back and let the shop find out and fix it for you. There`s no way to tell without actually looking at it.

The Durango is the same crap as the Dak back to the rear of the front doors. Same craptastic brakes, ball joints, sway bar bushings.

i had to take it to a different shop because the people who did my brakes and calipers were butt nuggets they didnt see anything wrong the other shop told me what was wrong without even looking at it the idiots didnt turn my rotors upon putting on new pads and calipers

Just sold my Dakota I have a set of NIB cams for sale from KRC performance. I am selling these below cost. I now have own a full size truck with a hemi so these are not needed.If you or you know someone wanting to up the HP in there 4.7 this is the kit to do it with. Thanks for the help.
