Thank You Justinmccan, I will check for loose bolts. Now that you mention it, It makes sense since I already replaced the upper ball joints for aftermarket and used different bolts than the ones that came with them(wuzy bolts). So there is a big chance I did not torque them right.

I have had the recalls performed on my 00' Dakota.
The major issues, Diamler/Chrysler doesn't seem to be concerned with ball joints at this time, or until a death occurs, from a wheel falling off or something of that nature. I have been looking at the bulletins and am in aww how many there are. I have talked to a few repair facilities, and they told me that the Gov. is trying to mandate a recall on ball joints to Chrysler. I have even (yesterday) called Chrysler's recall Number. I do beleive that if a number of customers sart calling this 800 #, they might finally do a recall. Please pass this # on: 800 - 853 - 1403
The more calls placed, the more we can get done.

97 dak 2x4 318 auto-- front end wore out at 60000 miles--no grease fittings-- what a bunch of dipsticks. my last dodge or is all the mfg skimping on quality

You guys are lucky, My 97's front end wore out at 33,000 miles, and at 60,000 it looks like I get to do it again
