Subject: Any problems IP: Logged
Message: So I'm kicking the Idea around of the getting a dakota with the V-8 option (can't beat the sound). What I'm wondering is, is there any major problems with the drive train, suspension, electrical, ect...
Also, what kind of HP potential does this have.
Any info would be greatly appreciated

Message: V-8 is great. Sounds like a dream, actually is eaiser to drive, can accelerate up a hill in 4th gear. In Denver.
I love my V-8. The six banger I test drove made me want to cry, at all the lost potential in the truck.
I have had nothing even resembling a problem, except the ball joints.

Message: I have a 2001 dodge dakota club cab.
The bed of my truck is colliding with the back of my cab. Just at the top of the bed. Chrysler says that everything on the truck is fine meaning frame and mounts. They don't know why it is hitting, They decline to fix the problem. I had the truck for six months 12,000 miles and know a throw bearing thats going bad chrysler will not fix a warranty proplem.
