 Subject: 4 alpine tens under rear seat

Installed buy riping out the rear plastic under seats. Fiberglassed four tens with aprox .85cu.ft. Sounds excellent with my PG 2500xs . Note the rear seats are raised up 2 inches and the front 1.25 for the amps.

I am trying to figure a way to fit (4)Kicker Comp 10's under the back, '98 Dak-Slt CC, without to much rip and remove, keep the seats, and keep the stock look unless the setup is displayed.. Really thinking hard of going to the L7 square Kickers if there is room for 4 10's or 2 12's..

The tens are boxed in with 3/4inch mdf the only thing that is glassed is the bottom. The seat belts have to be removed and installed on top of the sub plate. The hole thing is consealed by the seats. You will need to make sure that you have atleast a quarter inch of glass and resin for the bottom plate. The box is built to my sub specs which is a total of 3.4cu.ft. The amp im running is 500wts But im looking for more power.

.....i also have a dakota cc and i was trying to think of a way to install 4 10's or 12's and i found this dudes website (gibsdakota.com), but you will have to totally get rid of your back seats...

Yea, I'd rally love to see some of the pics, if you can get them. Ive been looking to do the same thing, and id love to see how you did it. What series of the Alpines were they?

I have 4 Alpine 10's Type E in the back of my 2000 R/T. I did remove the whole seat, but I think it was worth it. Sounds really good. Hits very hard.

bad96, i got a box that is alot better than the thunderform, its fiberglass and MDF. it will fit your truck perfectly and look completely stock under the rear seat. i sold my truck so i am selling the box. it fits two 10's sealed and is divided for better performance. let me know if you're interested. thanks.

I fit two square 12's and kept the seats but they sit up a little higher but it is actually more comfortable beacuse you are not as crouched over

think i got yall all beat, QC this and ExtCab that... do it big like me :) 4 10" Alpine Type Rs (the big mofos) in a single cab dak w/o giving up any leg room for myself.
