an 8" bazooka tube behind the rear seat of a quadcab. I have an 02 qc, and I just finished putting in an 8" bazooka behind the passenger rear seat. It was too long to go behind the drivers, so I took out the jack bracket and welded it to the drivers side and sure as s*%& it fit no probs. I only took off the top half of the seat, because I heard it was a pain in the ass to get the bottom half of the seat back on. I thought I would pass this on.

great to hear that it fit, I wanted to do the same thing but everyone assured me it wouldn't fit...now the real question, how does it sound?

hey tony...one more thing, do you know what model # you went with the different 8 inch models had slighlty different dimensions, or would you say there was plenty of room where any of the 8 inch models should fit?

I replaced a 6.5" tube with this one and it is a 100 times better. The tube is the el series, circuit city had them for $149.00 on sale.

no, you cant fold up the seat, but thats with any box. Yes, it was the 100w amplified tube.

Who cares if you can fold up the seat or not?? It is totally useless to fold it up, because when you do ,it takes up MORE room.
Everytime someone talks about a box or tube behind the rear seats of a QC , that question gets asked!
That`s why you have a bed in the back of your truck.

hey tony
just bought my bazooka tube and had it installed at circuit city, they didn't want to do it at first insisting it wouldn't fit but thanks to your post I assured them it would and sure enough it did. Thanks for letting us know, that really comleted my system it sounds great!
