Hey....Looking for some other options for my subs. Heres my problem. I am getting two 12" JL W6 V2s for my ext cab.....I was orginally gonna put them in a box downfiring and have a sheet of plexi glass to see the inside. Well, it looks more and more like I can't afford that. I am not sure of the exact price because the dealer I wanted to do my box gave me a price for a box with plexi and it also included the price to sand down the inside of the box and paint it to match my truck color. They said that the painting and sanding is what costs $$. Well, I dont need that and they gave me the price of 1,200 just for the box (and with the amps flushed) Another dealer wasnt sure about how much plexi would be, but said the box would be about 500 with amps flushed. I can afford 500 (without all that painting) NOT 1,200. Anyway, if I cant get plexi, HOW can I set it up so that I might be able to see the sub but its not RIGHT up in my ear blasting.....? My orginal reason to get them facing down is that I thought it would just get annoying to have those subs right up in your ear and that downfiring would muffle them a little bit and give them more boom. I have my whole ext cab to work with....endless options. Could I get the subs facing towards each other or at an angle???? Is it real annoying to have them facing towards you in an ext cab? What would everyone reccomend? I also want to get my amps flushed...So there has to be ways to work with that. I could possibly have the subs on the sides with the flushed amps in the middle. Any ideas will help- Thanks _KrEzEr_
