 Subject: Ideas for setereo equipment location?

I need some ideas on where to locate my stereo equipment. I have decided to put one amp under each seat. The DVD player in the glove compartment, but have no clue where to put my cd changer. I have 2000 Dakota sport, without a center console. I also have the MTX thunderform box, does anyone know if it contains a place to put an amp inside of it.

get an in dash dvd player then you can put your changer in the glove box. changers are way overrated unless you listen to the same cds over and over again.

Bump on that, get a mp3 deck for around the same price! You'll lose sq with a changer as well.

I actually got a great deal on a cd changer/in dash tv, so I already have them at my house. I have the stanard bucket seats wth the arm rest in the middle.

My two cents...
I've got my DVD player in the glove box, In dash 5.6" alpine LCD, indash MP3/CD, two amps under the back seats of my 2000 CC R/T, 2 12's in a sealed box in back, and I've got my "brain" (central station, w/e you wanna call it) under my passanger seat. This is where all my wires connect. Again just my two cents, and there is plenty of room for other things as soon as the money comes in....Got me

here some ideas for you durango owners, my install
brain (eq) under amp rack, 3 amps where 3rd bench would of been on custom rack,1 brain under each rear seat (tv tuner, deck brain), 1 brain under driver seat(6.5'' lcd), 2 brains under passanger seat(xm tuner, 6.5'' lcd), 1 brain behind glove compartment(xm controller), 2 changer's one behind each rear seat (now moved to custom center console) and 4 12's sitting on the amp rack. lots of room if you get creative with it.

Well you could do like me. Take the bench seat out and flip it upside down. You'll see I think 6 or 8 rivits that hold brackets that hold the center console in place. I just drilled out these rivets and took the center portion of the seat out. Seats will still bolt right in and look like buckets now. Now there is room for a nitrous bott... I mean a console for your cd changer.
