What would be a decent type of amp to run the Thunderform? I tried to search the past posts but couldn't really find anything. All knowledge is appreciated.

Also, I do't know anything about bridged and mono amps. Can you explain anything I might need to know when buying an amp, like ohms? Last time I checked, the Thunderforms put out 4 0hms correct?

Bridged mean you are combing two channels on a stereo (2 ch) amp into one +/- output. This increases the power to that one channel and allows you to power subs with more watts. This is common and will not hurt your amp (so long as you stay at 4ohms or higher) in most cases.

Mono amps like the class D amps or single channel amps are desinged for subs only, they offer the controls that are needed such as low pass filter and bass boost that is important when powering subs. They also are sometimes smaller and more efficient then the regular amps.

If you would like another MTX product take a look at their D amps, they have 3 of them. You can take a look at the specs on Crutchfield.com.

JL Audio, RockFord Fosgate, Kenwood, MTX, Sony, Alpine etc.. all make mono amps that will work great with your thunderform. Just pick one out that is in your price range and will fit where you want it.

If you would like to power your front speakers along with your thunderform then you might consider a 4 channel amp, or a 3 channel amp or even a 5 channel amp. You have lots of choices.

Just a suggestion---I have a Rockford Fosgate 600a4 (4 channel) running my t-form. The rear channels are bridged to run the t-form and the front is ran in stereo to a component set. The amp offers built-in adjustable crossovers and is rated conservatively at 75x4.
