Subject: Rear Speaker Installation IP: Logged
Message: Simple question for anyone listening: I'm installing Pioneer 6 1/2" speakers in front and back of my 2000 club cab. Got the front ones in, they sound great--but I'm having trouble getting at the rear ones.
Can anyone volunteer how-to remove the side trim panels in the club cab? I've pushed, pulled, and tugged as much as I dare, don't want to break any clips. I'm looking around the 'net, but no luck yet.
Thanks for the help!

Message: You have to unscrew the seatbelts, remove the top panel, remove the bottom panel and there you are.
It isn't super easy so be careful.

Message: If you break off any of the clips that's fine. Just go buy more at the dealership and send the broken ones to me. I'll pay shipping and handling. R/Truck know my hidden agenda. =)

Message: doogster, if you're still reading this, how do they sound? And were you able to get those rear panels off yet? ;)
I'm getting some 6 1/2 pioneer 3 way TS-A1667 speakers for the front and back... they should be here on May 1st. I'm not looking forward to removing those rear panels.
