i'm not much of an audiofile.. but i know i need a kick @$$ setup to turn the heads of judges.. so, down to my local tweeter to do some shoppin. ended up with a pair of 6 1/2" boston acoustics pro series components, 2 JL 10" W3v2's, JL 300/2, and a JL 500/1. all that and a custom center console to go between my corbeau seats and a beauty board for the "mountation" of the amps and the cap. should look sweet. i gave the guy a general idea of what i wanted it to look like and then told him to have fun and make it look good.
i wasn't going to post anything til it was done (like 10, 11 days.. ish) but i'm too damn excited about it to just sit on it. lol.. ok.. i'll post pics ass soon as i get my baby back

Damn, that will sound good. I had a couple of questions. I wanted to put in a new Jl W6v2's, but my local JL shop does not have them yet. They dont expect to get them for a while. I have seen them on the net (where I would like to get them) but am not sure if I wanna order through there. My question is where did you get yours? If you get them of the net I would like to know. Also, I am going to have two amps for my Dak, and am looking for a cool way to mount them. I wanted to know what you were doing for this. I am taking up my whole back seat for my sub, so I have plenty of room to play around with it. So, what is your beauty board? Thanks-KrEzEr

Hey, 92 Dak, I have a question for you. I went to www.pureaudio.com and put together the system I want to buy. There are a few things I dont like, lots of links dont work and I dont know their history. Have you ever bought from them? If so, tell me about them. Does it take a long time to get it shipped? Hows their business history? Anything you can tell me would help. If you think I will get my stuff in great quality, I will buy from them then, just need to know_krezer

stopped in to see how everything was going and its progressing pretty nice. the frame for the center console is starting to go up, the wires and boston components are in, and i'm getting more excited than before! had a problem with my old head unit. the pioneer i had only has 1 set of RCA outputs and it was sub only.. since i'm running 2 amps and i wanted an mp3 player anyways, i bought an alpine deck today. more later!

i'm goin freakin nuts. the guy asked for a couple more days so he didn't have to rush.. i was supposed to be done this past weekend. i told him to take as long as he needed, (yeah right, like i'm gonna let him rush) but the no driving is killing me. supposed to be done todayish..

Chad- no its not an RT. 4.7v8 here i love the paint too! looks awsome with the light from a setting sun hitting it too.
dodgeee-o,k-dak- the setup for the box and the beauty board cost me about 200 in materials and about 700 in labor. (if you pay people generously they're less inclined to fuk up what they're doing) ;o) the subs are firing down at the floor board.
