everybody seems to love the thunderforms on here...
but what about the alternatives, if there are any?
any comments from people who have a stealth sub mount other than an MTX branded one?

I have a Q-logic box that fits under the back seat of my CC. It drops right in the tool tray, no cutting or mounting...just drop it in. It raises the angle of the seat a little, so it comes with a tray to go in the other side. The tray also drops right in, over the jack. You can keep your jack in it's current location and gain a storage tray for over top. It only fits an 8" sub. I put a Rockford Fosgate RFP3208 in there, fits perfect and sounds great. People can still here me from down the street if I want them too. I can take some pics if you want. I drive my sepeartes in the front and my coaxials in the rear on the same 5 channel amp under the front seat. The amp puts out 120 watts RMS to the 8 and 40 watts RMS to the other 4 channels, sounds great. It's an alternative to the thunderfrom, still have storage and stealth.

The alternatives are endless. You can custom anything into the truck. Just need to know how to do it.

customizing your stereo doesn't take much know how, as long as you keep it simple. even if you have to fiberglass or whatever, it may take two or three attempts but the chances are it will still be cheaper than many of the alternatives and at least you'll have some experience
