If DC put it in the same place that my 2001 DAK has it, you will find it behind the passenger side kick panel. No screws, just pull the kick panel until the clips let go. Mine was silver in color and was about 6" x 10" in size.

Yep i got a 2000 CC. Same place, passenger side kick panel.
