It only took me about a week, but I finally got my new system installed.
Reciever- Alpine CDA-7995 (with the cool motorized face)
Speakers- Focal Polykevlar Comps. up front, Kicker resolution midranges/midbasses in back.
Amps- Rockford 800a4 to the speakers, Rockford 800a2 to the subs (1600 WATTS TOTAL)
SUBS- TWO BRAND NEW 12" JL AUDIO W6V2 SUBS in a completely custom built box. (dam these things are LOUD!!!)
Other- Rockford: 1 farad cap, 4 guage power wiring, platinum battery terminal, power & ground dist. blocks. Monster cable: best RCA wires on the market
This is the best sound quality setup i have ever heard. The subs are tight at any volume level, and I can't even describe the sound that the focals put out. Now I just have to tweak it and get the crossovers set. I'm going to NOPI in a few weeks and I'll measure what the subs are putting out.

I'm also still working on my system. And I'm taking pictures as I go along so ppl can beifit from seeing what I have done.

Hey here is the pic of the box I built. The subs are set downfiring. The front is 1/8" aluminum punched and tapped so everything just screws right into it.

They are downfiring. When I had a JL W0 in my other truck, it gave you a massive back massage. I didn't really want that since these subs are so much more powerfull. I'm thinking about building a new box out of fiberglass that is also a center console. If I do, I'll get another one and put it facing forward, and the other two inverted so you can see the baskets.
