Subject: Laptop to radio config? IP: Logged
Message: I read a while back of a guy that ran his laptop to his cd player letting him use his hard-drive to store songs and he could select a song and play it. Anyone know of how to do this or who the guy is? Thanks

Message: I am using a JVC El Kamelion. It has the a/v inputs allready included with it. I have used a laptop to play mp3's, and it sounded good, but it was a pain in the rear to switch songs while driving. I have now bought a Pioneer AVX-7300 and AVM-p9000r and am in the process of installing a mini itx computer in the truck to attach to the display.

Message: I definatly want to do this. Sounds like first I have to upgrade the head unit. On the JVC, did the adapter just plug right into the head unit? how did you go about plugging the adapter into the head unit and into the pc. That is where i'm stuck.
