Are the stock infinity tweeters just parallel connected with the front door speakers or is there a crossover in there somewhere?

For insurance, solder a 100uF capacitor across the tweeter speaker leads. You can buy them at Radio "Hack". Make sure that the negative side of the capacitor is on the ground side of the speaker lead. What the capacitor does is act like a high pass filter. It keeps the low (unnecessary) frequencies from reaching the speaker and allows for a more crisp sound. It won't harm anything if there is a crossover burried in a door so don't worry about adding the cap. All it can do is provide another stage of filtering.
