Subject: Help me replace my audio system... IP: Logged
Message: The audio system in my 2000 reg. cab dakota is horrible, the bass is real bad. When i try to play a cd out of my changer (mopar cd changer tuned into the radio) with bass the volume turns way down on it's own. I'm sick of not being able to listen to music w/o any bass, what should i get to fix this problem?

Message: Here is what I would recommend:
1. Upgrade you door and rear speakers with some quality replacements (MB Quart, Diamond, Focal, etc.)
2.Add one 8" subwoofer behind each seat with an adequate amp ( about 250-300 watts RMS)
3.Upgrade your head unit and add an amp for the door/rear speakers.
