Subject: Best amp 4 T-Form? IP: Logged
Message: Want the MTX T-Form w/subs but debating if I should get it with or without the amp. How does this sound with the amp already installed? Would a seperate 300 watt amp sound a lot better with it? Would it be worth the extra cash and hassle? Which amp would fit under my passenger seat and give the 2 10's plenty of power and the price range under $300? I want a system that bumps but I don't need it to be heard 10 blocks down the road. Please help, I'm so confused and don't know sh!t!

Message: I've heard the amplified version sound pretty good for only being amped by a 100W amp. Howevery, if your looking for more but not overdone bass, then I would suggest the MTX Thunder 6500D amp. The amp will put out up to 450W into a 4 ohm load (at 14.4V battery voltage.)
This amp will fit under the passenger seat, I don't know if it will fit under a power seat though.
You can this amp for $299 at www.CBRstereo.com
There are always deals on this amp on Ebay though, in fact there are a few new 6500D's going now for about $275 (a few of those even come with the external bass controller for free...which I would suggest.)
