Message: I desided to go ahead and get the MTX Thunderform From the Group Buy.
I'm getting the unpowered no sub box.
My question is....
What type of sub is best for the Form?
What do you use if you have one and do you like it? or what would u change?
Thankx

Message: The best woofer for that enclosure is the MTX T5104/8's that it was designed for. The T6104/8 they put it in now works fine too. That enclosure needs a mid-powered woofer, 200-300 watts rms. for several reasons. The box is made of an injection molded plastic about 1/8" thick, so if you were to put real high powered woofers in it with alot of excursion, the box would flex and you would loose output and it would sound muddy. Also, there is the mounting diameter and depth of the enclosure to look into. The box goes under the rear seat, it is very shallow, you'll need a woofer to fit that spec. along with the mounting diamter spec. Just some thoughts from what I've run into before.

Message: Search on some of the older posts---thats how I made my choice for the unloaded thunderform I bought. I ended up with Image Dynamics IDQ-10's---and am more than satisfied.
