if you have 3093.02$ for a system you can build the
highest quality system emaginable by being smart with
your purchases. if your not done yet you need help making
decisions. I have a system consisting of
Sony XES P1
XES X1
XES T1
XES C1
McIntosh MC440M
MC431M
MPM4000
Focal Utopia 180W
Utopia 136W
Utopia 33WX
And I can tell you that no car audio system can beat this for
sound quality. you may sound as good with some smart
buys but never better. This is not a spl set up but still hits
at about 140db crystal clear!!! at 98db you are in heaven
with your favorit artist performing just for you on the dash
of your car. And to be compleetly honest I have way less
than 3000$ invested however my system is worth over
12,000$ if any one wants to talk quality I know my stuff
and I am willing to help.

GEE! You really know how to build a sound system. I'm doing a bit of the same, with the same conponents. Two McIntosh 443M's, a pair of Focal A6W "Audiom's" in the front, the rear's I haven't decided on (too many opinions... I just don't know), & two JL Audio 8W7's for subs.
My first question is; after purchasing one of Focal's highend tweeters for those A6W's (http://trimex.com.pl/trimex/index.php?p=2&ma=&ms=&sid=4602b0d7e1f9c5656198133d9dabc23b&idg=38&PHPSESSID=4602b0d7e1f9c5656198133d9dabc23b), do I need to purchase crossover drivers? I've email Focal on this question, but to no avail, I've rec'd an answer...Yet!
My second question is of mixed opinion on what Focal speaker to put in the rear deck of a M3 BMW? Something about "fill" speakers, so don't spend a lot of money on the rear set. I was told to just do coaxials...Hmm? The best coaxial that Focal make (I think), is the 165CV1. I was thing along the lines of the 136W's, 136K's, or the 130KP's in the rear.
I drive approx. 1100 mile a week (no joke) between NYC, MA & CT form two schools & one job. I'm sure you understand when I say that I want "quality", & not "quantity" of sound.
If you or your staff would so kind as to inform me of your opinion(s), I would be most greatful.

$3000 bucks for a good system isnt much. My head unit was $2000 alone not to mention the 4 jl w3 subs, jl 800w amp, ps2, doorspeakers, etc.
