Hey guys,
Anyone have a DEI alarm w/remote start and have it trip their check engine light. I think the code is P1687 that shows up. I have a 2K 4.7 automatic. Doesn't happen every time, but when I remote start the truck, the check engine light will come on, intermittently and shut off every so often. Anyone have any info?

I had the EXACT same problem...
I tried everything... I had CircuitCity replace the brain of my Viper 550 (DEI product) and that fixed it for a little bit, but it came back on...
Ultimately, I had to have the dealer fix something in the engine...
BTW... do you have a free flowing exhaust? Mine started acting up after I had a less restrictive muffler put on.
