Subject: Temp set up... ? IP: Logged
Message: My Dak CC has the Infinity Premium sound
system, i think 6 or 8 speakers? The one that
has the CD/Cassette combo, well I was
woundering, what is a good, cheap solution to
get some bass in my truck. I dont want to
spend too much, maybe under $300 for now
until I get some more $$ to get comp level
speakers. You know, just something to get me
some bass for now. What you guys
recommend? Thanks

Message: Hey Plex. I would suggest the same alternative that I came up with. I installed an Infinity Basslink. It was easy to install and it sounds great! It is a powered 10" sub with a 10" passive radiator. It has it's own 200 watt rms amp and variable crossover. It will hook up with RCA conncetors or to the factory system via speaker wires. You can mount it horizontal or vertical. Crutchfield and Car Toys have this for $399 but I bought mine off of ebay , brand new with the "buy it now" option for $215.00. That seems to be the going price for it on ebay. Search for the seller name carstereo2000.com and you'll likely find another for that same price. You won't be dissappointed unless you are looking for bass of multiple subs and big amps. I could not afford to give up the room in my Dak...or my wallet!

Message: Also check into the Kicker bass station, and bazooka. The are both amplified bass systems that may work for you.
