Subject: Front door speaker wiring IP: Logged
Message: I'm in the process of upgrading the stereo in my truck (2002 quad cab) and I'm having a little bit of difficulty. I'm installing a sub, amplifier and component speakers up front. I was planning on leaving the factory speaker wiring in the front doors intact and installing new wire for the new speakers and was wondering if anyone found an easy way to get new wiring through the factory wiring tube from the cowl to the door (that corrugated rubber hose that all the wiring passes through). So far all I've managed to do is scrape up my hands pretty bad reaching up through the dash, I can't get anything past the wiring connectors. Any suggestions?

Message: pull the rubber tube out of the truck side it makes it easier to get them through.
