Subject: t-form just stopped working!
IP: Logged

Message:
I just finished the install of my thunderform (amped and loaded) and I had just finished all the wiring and replacing interior etc. Everything was working fine and then it just cut out. The red light on the amp panel is still lit (red). I checked connections with the exception of the ground which is a pain to get to (I'll do it tommorow). I check the line inputs and the power wires, fuses etc. Any other recommendations? Anyone else have similar problems?? THANKS!

i'm guessing that when you check your ground it will be loose. That is the only reason i could think of, besides what you have already checked, that could cause it to cut off.

I re-checked the ground and all seemed to be in order. That left only one possibility...the amp itself. I contacted MTX through their website and they emailed me back in just a few hours, impressive. I then called one of the people they suggested I contact a tech rep at MTX. He was very concerned, listened to me, treated me like an adult and arranged a return authorization, again impressive. He also gave me instructions so that I can simply remove the amp/preamp and send it in, saving time and shipping costs. The only downside is that he said it would take about 3 weeks but given the very positive treatment I was given, it certainly makes the wait more digestable.
