Subject: Installing thunderform, any tips? IP: Logged
Message: I will be installing a thunderform (amped/loaded) tomorrow in my 97 4wd Club cab (obviously), anyone have any hints, suggestions, clues... I have read that the mounting bolts are difficult to line up and that it requires some wrestling to install anything else?

Message: Place some foam, dynamat or carpet pad under the thunderform so it doesn't vibrate. Also you may want to dynamat the back and side walls. You might not be able to get all the bolts in, don't worry it will still sound just fine. Run your wire first, and make sure you find a good ground source (unpainted metal, star washer, and use a nut/bolt instead of a screw). Other then that it is just a matter of taking the panels off and dropping it in. good luck

Message: I have exact directions on how to get to remove the tool tray to install thunderform as I just removed everything in my back to raamat and work on a custom enclosure. Email me if you're interested!
