 Subject: does anyone know about these amps???

I was wondering if anyone has any opinions of US Acoustics, Jensen, Profile, Profile Clarus, and Pioneer amps. Which one would best push a kicker solo-baric 8" L5 DVC 2 ohms? Just need some extra thump. Thanks for any input...

Dont use a us acous amp.. they suck..
I was at a stereo comp where a rep was selling them.. and of course someone bought on.. and used it.. with his 3 cerwin vega subs.. He didnt think it worked as well as it should so he hooked his old amp back up wich just happened to be a crappy sony xplod.. and he hit 2 dbs higher the next time with the sony then he did with the us amp.. so dont go for that.. its $hit..

Of all those Pioneer is the best, and that is not saying much. Pioneer has really not put much effort into their amps in recent years.

Don't buy none of that junk & ruin a good truck. Buy some Kicker Amps & you will not be disapointed.

the old sony xplode works well. Orion hcca or US Amp are better and smaller (NOT to be confused with US Acoustics) I personally think that kicker and pioneer are overrated but thier not bad

Those solos love the power, so you'll have to pony up the $ to really get them moving. I like HiFonics amps (I'm going to use a Z440 to power that sub myself), I would not use any of the amps in your list... sorry they are all low-level gear compared to the speaker :( Your only as good as your weakest link.
