Message: From start to finished and installed it took me almost a whole Saturday.
The cost for everything in total was around $35, mdf board, glue, screws, paint, polyfill, speaker wire and caucking.
The box is about 6" deep, you can always build the box deeper to make room for your subs.
As for me I do enjoy doing woodworking this project was not that hard to do. Most people will take roughly 2 days from start to finished and installed.
It is like a deja-vu almost everyday I've gotten about 200 e-mails regarding this system, on how to build it. You can see 2 other versions of this system in my Links section under my site, look at Ken's & Josh's Dak's
If you need anymore help email me,
Anthony

Message: alright cool then, but from the pics, it looks like there is an indention in the carpet on the seat bottom from the rim of the subs, does the seat rest on top of the box, i want at least a little clearance if possible.

Message: I almost never use the rear seats for passengers, the pic above is the way I keep the seats about 95% of the time. And yes the seats do rest on the rim of the sub. You can flush mount the subs or even put some kind of spacer in between the subs and the seats. Look at Ken's Dakota on my site, he put strips of 2x2's between the seats and subs. You can do what ever you like!!!

Message: I want to fit one or two 10" behind or under my seat in a reg cab 95. If you have a model before '96, you'll see that there is not much room. Any ideas?

Message: I am searching but am yet to find it. I have an 2000 dak and I want to install 2 Kicker Solo-baric L7's in the rear. This of course rules out the thunderform.
Has anyone done an install like that and can you give me pointers/instructions?

Message: if its for a cc go to www.stealthboxes.com , they aren't the least expensive way to go, but they'll make one for you. I recently ordered one for 2 s10l7's with the lid, and they have a tray for your amp too

Message: The boxes he is making will not allow the seats to stay in the original position . You must unbolt the seats and set them on to of the box . Not mentioned for some reason
