Good morning! I just purchased a 1990 dak LE club cab with 49,000 original kms and was wondering what size of speakers are used in the rear cab portion as well as in the doors? Are they all 6.5" speakers or ? I am also wondering if it is possible to hook up a CD changer to the factory installed am/fm cassette? I just read on the Future Shop web site that there is a Pioneer unit that can be hooked up thru the antenna ie. an FM modulator that will play CD's thru the FM radio channel/band.

Thanks for your help in advance and have a great day!

I guess you could do that but why would you upgrade the speakers and not the head unit? I would spend my money on the best head unit you can aford and add stuff from there.

if you have a club cab then you are correct about speaker size. they are all 6.5" speakers.

In a 1990 truck, the front door speakers are 5.25's and the rear speakers are 5x7's. Pioneer makes some of the best 5x7's you can get and You may want to listen to different sets for the front, there are many good brands!

thanks Jim and junior999ca-I was just curious. My wife and i like both cd's/cassettes so i was looking for a compromise to allow us to play both. I don't really want to spend huge $$ on a sound sytem so............will see what i can come up with at the Future Shop or A&B Sound.

Thanks for the info./advice!
