Subject: low watt sound quality IP: Logged
Message: hey i have a weak xplode 300watt rms amp that i got for free and i am going to buy two new audiobahn 10" subs that are rated at 600watts each. So i will be putting only 150 into each of them. Will this sound like ish becasue there is so much less power then what the subs are rated or will it sound the same as some subs rated at 200watts? thanks alot for any help, later

Message: The Audiobahn subs are ver power hungry. I would recommend a conventional subwoofer that has the regular size surround and a more modest power rating. To be honest, the Kenwood Tornado cone subs are inexspensive and sound much better than I though they would when I heard the set that my brother bought!!
