Subject: does anyone know for sure? IP: Logged
Message: Can anyone assure me that a 6.5 inch bazooka tube (specifically the new Rsa-hp 150 amplified model) will fit behind the driver's side rear seat in a quadcab? I saw a post by "kanter" who said he had done this but a local stereo shop told me it wouldn't fit. I found a great price on the internet and if someone could let me know if it for sure fits or not I would really appreciate it.

Message: Can't you have them just take it out of the box and set it in their for you? Wouldn't take too much on their part I wouldn't think.

Message: well if it makes you feel better i just got my wifes truck back on fri. awsome job. all alpines with a kicker 200.2 amp powering them and a 10 kicker comp vr10 pushed by a blaupunkt digital amp. all in a 01' quad cab. the box fits behind the drivers side rear seat. and the only thing seen are the tweeters and blaupunkt head unit.
just enough bass to shake your back and highs that scream. sounds awsome.

Message: doubledakota...sounds pretty cool. Was it a local shop, did they make a very small custom box for the ten, I didn't think there was enough room for one...were did they place the amp for the sub? (I already have a 2-channel underneath the front passenger seat) Thanks for the info

Message: the kicker 200.2 is under the rear pass seat and the blaupunkt is underthe rear drivers side seat.
it was a local shop in ct. that did the work. i remember when he first started out and seen alot of his work over the years. he kept the truck for 2 days. didnt care. good work shouldnt be rushed. when he called and said the 10" sounds nice i was laughing because ive read so many post that it wont fit. sure lose the seat movement. but who cares. he did my lumina 2 weeks ago and everybody that listens cant believe it. now i think i will let him do my truck. seen that the wifes was the pig!
