You really need to run a power and ground wire for that amp. Your decks wiring couldn't handle that load and it would also make your amp work harder since it wasn't getting the proper amount of voltage. It really isn't that difficult to hook up an amp properly and once it is done you good to go, even if you decide later on to get another amp the wiring will already be there.
You can hook up the remote turn on wire, and some high-level inputs to your deck.
