Subject: Two 12"? two 10"? No thunderform? IP: Logged
Message: ok, Im looking to buy a 1997-1998 dodge dakota ex.cab and i want to know how much room ive got to use. I want to have the back seat still, I want to have room to still sit 3 back there but i want a lot of bass. Thunderforms for the daks look pretty $$$ I was wondering if it was possible to fit two 10" subs with single amp in seperate truck style boxes without them stickin out from the back seat at the bottom. Same goes with the two 12" becuz thats what i relaly want to go with, but if it only works for the 10's then ill be fine. How does two good 10's sound in a dak anyways?

Message: Check some of the older posts. A few guys are building some very impressive "thunderform" like enclosures that handle a pair of 10's. They are also posting pics of the enclosures and specs. If you are handy with wood---thats your ticket. If you are gonna build it, though, take your time. A bad-a$$ pair of subs in a crappy enclosure ain't gonna do $hit.

Message: You can use two 12s however you will have to raise the seat height a little.
