mines simple but i hit a legal 146 db with it.
xtant 600watt rms amp 400$$
2 JL W6 12" 200$$
pioneer head 100$$
pioneer 6.5s 30$$
2 power acoustic tweets 25$
total$755 but only really paid around 300.
my other system includes 2 xtant hexagon 12"s and 2 directed 1100d's in a box built by myself that hits a 148 thats legal too. any suggestions?

My system in a 2000 ext cab. My Bro In-Law works for tweeter so all of this was my discounted prices:
Alpine 60x4 deck $300
JL Component speakers, front&Rear $500
JL 300x4 amp $320
4 JL 10w3 subs $750
2 JL 500x1 amps $850
Custom sealed box(materials) $35
0 gauge wire, RCA's, 12gauge speaker wire $Free
A total of about $2755
I built the box and installed all of the system so nothing was paid there. The JL quality is like no other. I plan on switching to 1 10w7, build a console box and put the seats back in. The system now is ridiculously clean and hits 152db with the windows cracked but i dont have room for anything. It probably could have hit a lil harder with the box built by tweeter but i like to buld them so oh well. Thank God for my Bro In-Law and his graceous discount.

since i am partially sponsored by orion, i can tell you that my cost for all my orion equipment was just under 1500. i will put retail prices in parenthesis so you can see the total value.

i have a fiberglass back window due to my system beczuse i shadered the stock window.

WOW, 4 years since i made this post.... dakota has been long gone and i miss the 145db system unbelievably... havent had anything but a cd player since.... just came back to the site since i might be buying my dads 03Qc 4.7 off of him shortly and was surprised to see this thread on the audio page....
