I've had my JVC head unit for over 2 years, no problems and it still works like new. For the price, its the best head unit I have owned. I'm thinking about upgrading to a newer JVC that will play mp3's, but otherwise, no complaints.

I have used JVC in my truck since almost day one and I have had no problems with it.. I also have subs and speakers installed(not JVC) and the deck performs awesome..
Go out and buy one..

have a JVC unit in the convertable- had it in when we bought the car.
went to a pioneer high end deck and then had to send that out for warranty work, so i put the old JVC back in-
anyways the whole system was degraded, to be honest it sounds horrible.
if you dont run amps or anything of the sort they are fine units, and for the money, you cant beat them. I just think if your going to run amps/high end equipment you need a good high end deck.
Im no fan of Eclipse but the girlfriend wanted the whole screen saver deal so thats what we have. Im an Eclipse man myself.

I have the jvc kdsh99 the mp3 player deck....havent had a problem with it.....i have a rc dakota 2000 and im just waitin on money to buy subs....
