 Subject: Best Route to Run Power Wires for Amp?

I need to get power to my back seat in order to power my thunderforms. The problem is I don't know much about wiring an amp, and I need advice as to what route to get power from, and how to get it to my thunderforms. Please help!

Should be fairly easy...there's usually 2 'power' leads. One is the actual power itself...it should come straight from the battery, with a fuse in the line just in case something happens. The other one is the remote power lead....pretty much run it to anything that is activated only when the key is in the 'on' or 'accessory' position (like the radio).
As far as how to route it, I simply ran it UNDER my carpeting...if you don't feel uncomfortable 'peeling' some of the carpeting up, you can simply run it under the carpeting and then have it come up in the bank of the cab, where the Thunderform is.
Current mods: A MUFFLER. That's it. (For now.)
Future mods: Tonneau cover
Underdrive pulleys
Removal of clutch fan
K&N FIPK
17" rims
And much, much more.....

yeah but the real tough spot is how to get the wire from the battery into the cab itself? how do get through the firewall and such.

There should already be a penetration there with some wires running through it. I don't exactly know what wires they are, but the last time I was being nosey, checking out the installation my local shop did, there was a small hole in the firewall surrounded by a little rubber grommet thing....the wires went through there. Same thing with my older Saturn (before I crashed it *L*)

There is a huge rubber boot already in there with most of your factory wires going through it. You can take a phillips head screw driver and punch a hold right through it, but avoid the wires. Then you can slide your power wire through that hole.

Also there is a grommet on the passenger side up behind the dash with nothing running through it. Take a flashlight and look under the dash on passenger side. Pull it out punch a hole in it and run the wire through it. I discovered it accidentally while looking under my hood. If you find it that way just push it. it will fall through into the passenger side floor board.
