Was your "Buddy" in some kind of outlaw class? The world record right now is held by a name that most of you have never heard called an Adire Audio Brahma. Guy has 9 15's and running some where in the range of 76,000 watts. He has the world record of 170.??. You can go to www.adireaudio.com and check it out. I was just curious cause as I just stated the world record was 170db, so how did your buddy hit like 180 or whatever you had said?

there are tons of classes for records, not just one overall. a question like who here has the loudest system is not a good question. if i had an extended cab dakota i would drop 2 15" brahmas or orion h2's and slam the piss out damn near anyone here but i have a single cab, leaving me with a lot less options.
hooedaddy is right, he has the record for that class and many classes are set my adire. i think the highest ever, any class, was set by that "bumpin bronco" with like 80 or so subs in it... its nuts.

i have 2 solo baric 15" L7's each with a 1500 watt amp on em. an optima red battry, mb quarts all around with a 350 watt amp for mids n highs. kenwood excelon deck. 6" screen mounted in a custom floor console along with an xbox under it. coming soon..... dynamating the entire cab, or maybe moving it all the the bed and cutting an opening into the cab throught he bed. but thats just an idea(wink wink)

I have the most bad a$$ system of all you guys. I have spent over $1,000 in it. My 6x9's hit so hard that it will blow your eardrums out!! I have 5 350 watt amps and an awesome cassette player. I get ALL the stations on my AM/FM stations because I have four antennas. It pumps out roughly 180 decibels and i keep blowin my speakers for some reason. The guy at Wal Mart said the Road Gear speakers are the best and I get lots of compliments on my bumpin system. What do you guys think?

The truck was LOUD but I pulled the single sub out and put a pair of audiobahn 1505's in for a while. That was really loud. Mid to high 150's on the dash. All was good till I blew a sub (the 7th one ;) So I was back to one sub. Backed the bolts off and broke the screws and the sub flew outta the wall and smacked the seat while riding through town. Everythings torn out now awaiting a rebuild. Might try some new subs. Friend of mine was burping them with 16,000 watts each and their holding up so might give em' a shot

I'm putting 2 Audiobahn Flame Compression 15"s in my black extended cab dak. Custom box with a 4000W RMS 2ch MA Audio Amplifier.
My friend has 4 15"s (Memphis) with a 1200W Legacy Amp that is pushing all 4.... he hit 165 in his van. Legal. I'm gonna let him borrow my amp on the next comp. to see what he'll hit. We're getting him a 17V battery, another Capacitor, and some heavy ear plugs and ear muffs.. lol

I've been running all old school JBL and Harman kardon equipment. The subs are professional series. BUT it's all changing, I've just got all my new equipment. 4-15's, 8-amps,10's for the doors, and mids/tweets with more power then you could emagine. Just wait.
