Message: Outlaw SPL lets you put the mic wherever you want it. There is a division called Port Wars where it is required to have the mic in the port.

Message: This is my second post here and I'm already gonna sound like an a**hole, but anyone can pull high numbers in Outlaw. Second thing I have to say is that mixing sizes of subs is the worst thing you could do unless you have them all crossed over at different frequencies. If you mix them you will get cancellation. Ok now onto the stereo.
This is for my brothers truck, but I was thinking about having him buy
Head - Alpine 7994
Sub - (1) IDQ 12 in about a 2 cube ported box
Sub Amp - Visonik V900XD
Speakers - MB Quart QM 130's
Amp - Visonik V2308
I figure from what I know about the IDQ it should do around 140 legally. We already own the sub amp and speakers, and 3 Xtant X1244's

Message: Oh,i didn't read the other page,i heard you can mix sizes but you have to spend hella cash and make it to where the low bass hit the 12's kick off and the 15's hit and then when the 15's kick off the 12's then hit or some sh!t it may work like that but i'd rather not mix subs and not spend hella cash.

Message: to mix subs you need each different size to crossover with a rapid rolloff so barely any frequencies cancel each other out.

Message: My buddy has 10 of the Jl audio 13W7 subs, he has 10 MTX 8100d amps and there in a custom made ported box, there all in a 1999 Chevy Express van and at the last competition he hit 180.3 dB's certified, we havent carpeted or done anything to the box yet because hes thinkin about putting 5 more of everything in there. So dont waste your time with all these subs just get Jl and MTX.
