Maybe you can make it easy on us so we don't have to do your research. Post a link or give us some description of the deck and then we can tell you if it fits. Din is a unit of measurement, check to see if it is 1.5 or 1 Din; if so it should fit.

It is a single din. It will fit but you will need a special bracket to convert from the 1.5 din opening. Think you can get this at any car stereo shop and I think even wal-mart. If you get this installed at a car stereo shop, they will have everything you need. I have a single din CD player installed in my 97 Dakota.

DIN is the standard sized radio. When you go to best buy about 95% of all the radios have the same height and width, this is a DIN radio. Then there might be one or two that are 50% bigger than the DIN (1.5 DIN), or twice as big as the DIN radio (double-DIN). If you are GEN III, you can put a single DIN for any year truck with the right kit. I think you can also run a 1.5 DIN for 97-00. For 2001, the dash opening for the head unit is rounded and only a single DIN will work without some custom work.
