Message: i have a simple question... i have 2 10" kicker comp vr's with the 2ohm dual voice coils and a MTX RFL 152 and i am planning on building a new box for them but i have only one question ... would it be ok for them 2 share one box as long as i ran the MTX on differnt wireing and run the 2 kickers on a single wireing sequence .... or should i just build a totally differnt box for the MTX?

Message: bizzare - I think the old Kicker Comps are recommended for totally sealed enclosures only, but check the manual or call Kicker. If they say it's OK to run 'em band-pass and the Kenwood box has the correct air space go for it.
Losty - each sub needs it's own sepearte SEALED air space (even if the box is ported). I for one would not put a set of 10s and 15s in the same vehicle, the unequal pressure waves might mess things up. You would be better off with four 10" actually.

Message: i have built and made boxes for trucks.I Currently own a 1992 dodge dakota. reg cab i have two 12" HE2 Fosgate behind my seat and a punch75 pushing them. You its hard to make a bandpass box for a truck to go behind the seat. you lose air that way too. your best bet is to stick with a sealed box.

Message: Hi, I'm pretty new to car audio and just wanted to get a second opinion on the rig I've chosen for my suburban. I plan on throwing a 10" alpine S-type sub that already comes preinstalled in it's predesigned bandpass box. Throwing in a 600 watt alpine amp to match. Any comments/suggestions?
