 Subject: new face=more watts?

I have the infinity system in my 02 quadcab. If I add a new face with more watts will I be increasing the overall wattage or will all the power still be coming solely from the amp?

If you use the factory amp in both cases then your wattage will stay the same. Adding a new "face" will only change your functions and may clean up the sound a little.
