Ummmmmm... no. Even with the speakers that come with the box (which is designed around those speakers) it just plain rocks. The speakers aren't what I would call heavy-duty or anywhere near competition level, but they are dual voice coil and they sound reeeeal good.
I am running the 2-10" MTX with a crappy 600watt max amp, have the gain up less than halfway, and sometimes it's still a little much for my ears and I find myself turning the bass level down.
If there is a good deal on a box that is HIDDEN and is a fairly simple install, this is it. The deal he is giving is awesome. I paid $385 + Shipping for an unamped one, although it is new. I ordered it about 8 hours before bobby's first post to sell and couldn't retract the order. The price he's got it at is a deal, even for a used one.

The hardware (new bolts/washers) come with the Thunderform, at least it does when it's new. On this one I'd ask bobby. In my case I had to do a little cut-to-fit to get the box to fit in correctly... I actually ended up re-drilling the holes in the box, then installing the bolts BEFORE mounting the box in the truck. I have yet to put the newer larger washers I bought onto the bolts, but it's not going anywhere... it's a tight fit any way I tried. This may not be everyone's experience, but that's what I had to do. It only took one afternoon for me to do if anyone is wondering about the install.

i actually only put in one bolt, and the box held in place. I dont have any other bolts, so if you want to put more into it you would have to buy it. The reason I only put in one was because only one hole lined up. Oh and the reason that I am getting rd of it is because I decided to put in 4 12's in a custom box. The thunderform box is perfect if you are looking for bass, I was surprised how hard it hit.

FYI, the thunderforms are awsome, sound great if you have enough amps backing them up, and you dont loose your backseat. that is a GREAT deal since you get the amp with it, depending on the size/brand of amp. the thunderform somes loaded for alittle under 300 and a good amp starts a 400.

Kicker VR10's? It depends on the mounting depth needed. I bought two infinity perfect 10's to go in the thunderform only to find out they don't fit! Check the other thunderform-related topics in this section to find out more.
