ANybody know where I can find a cheap small pair of tweeters, that still has reasonably good sounds quality? A ford buddy told me a wrecking yard.. but I thought "How am Im going to find a Dak in there amongst all those fords?"

No such thing.
Cheap and good don't go together unless you can't tell the difference.
Expect to pay at least $50 for a new set of aftermarket tweeters, <$100 for some good ones.
Try ebay.

Do you just want the tweeters......you'll need a xover for them too. A good place for buying seperate parts to build your own system is partsexpress.com....Check out the pyramid TW22N tweeters that they carry $18...I've heard good things about these on their techtalk board..check that out too. They have been selling two-way soundstream xovers for $15 that would work great!

Well $18 is cheep enough for me.. got the crossovers already just needed a couple of tweeters... how deep are they?

Just go to the webpage!!! They have many options.....you could build your own component system with their parts. Pyramid...He wanted cheap: but they have they ferrofluid, they are 1" silk dome, and have neodymium magnets, you'll have to remove the inlcuded capacitor(xover)...but still good from the guys on the techboard there. I would have given him different choices...FOCAL.....ANYTHING is better than stock!

Yes, anything IS better than stock..I just cant believe Pyramid is still around. I havent heard or seen them since early 90s
