Has anybody put in 2 12" subs in a reg cab dak? I was looking for a box design that would house Eclipse 12's. Anybody got a design or know of someone who has one?

What have you done to it now. Your post says you scraped that box.. did you find a way to install them with out losing leg room

ya ... its all about the legroom. I lost a click on mine but its not too unconfortable. I'll get the demensions this weekend if you still want them. I got to pull the seats to get to the box to measure it.
R/T Dak, you should be able to fit the 10 if you angle it. He!!, if i can fit 2 12s, you can fit a 10 easy. Just make sure to put it on the pass side. After a while with it hittin against your back, makes you wanna pee!!!

C-Override. The enclosure is still in the truck until I get the new one done. What I am doing is building an enclosure from below the dash and will wrap around behind the seats. The sub will be inverted at the front under the dash. A sub will be behind each seat. Will post pics when it is done.

ok...... 501/2" long 161/2" tall 4" top board 10" bottom board..... the center cut out is 10" wide and 2 1/4 deep . for the speaker mount I made a ring, placed it on the back side of the box so the sub will be flush with the box. the sub. The box has a mounting depth of about 6" so sub choices are real harsh

I have put two 12 inch subs in a reg cab truck.. i put two orion hcca subs in mine..and i have all the leg room i want.. hahaha too bad my box is in my bed and i did the cut through.. lol but still i put 2 12s in a reg cab.. :)

Do you have pics Eric? What is the depth of your sub and did you lose much leg room? My biggest problem is not just the sub, but I still have the two JL 300/4 amps and a JL 500/1 to fit as well. I knew I should have went with an xtra cab. LOL!!. I had more problems getting it all in my xtra cab, just due to more choices, which held up progress. I sold the xtra cab and was able to get this system installed in 3 days, including the glass work. I bet I still have 7 different configurations from my xtra cab in my basement, and it still never made it to final install. Just damn.

I have a 97'ram reg cab and i need to find a way to fit 3 memphis 12's in it, if any one has some good ideas please let me know.
