I have read that some people got their tool tray out without taking apart the back end of your dakota... how did you do this? Just take out the bolts and pull?

I have a 2000 CC.

Don't pull it out to soon you will just piss off your significant other LOL

The panels around the tool tray are slightly overlapping it, so it will take some serious pulling. Plus if you have to wire up any amps or rear speakers it is just easier to go ahead and pull off the panels.

I knew someone was going to post something like that LOL

I have run most of my wires except the main HOT wire... and didn't have to take out any paneling except the kick panels. So i might just pull it out... and hope i don't piss anyone off ;)

At least you found it funny.

I guess you don't have much to lose by trying to pull it out first, if it don't work then guess what.

The panels are in the way!

If it works out, just work it back in - That's what my girlfriend tells me....

I'm killing myself . . . ha ha ha ha
