that's what i hear every time the bass hits, i've only got a single 12 with 300 watts on it in my club cab, i wouldn't think it would rattle that much. that's only with up on blasting level though, when i got it down at about the average listening level it sounds decent. i tried taking my sunglass out of the holder and taking the stuff hanging on my rearview off and that helped a little, but there is still a pretty intense rattle that seems to be coming from teh plastic panel just under the rear windown and from the glove box area. any suggestions as to how to get around this other than dynamat, something free if it can be done, or just killing the bass?

No way around it, if your making bass things will rattle. You will have to go in and use some kind of sound dampening and make sure all panels are fastened down. You might try putting something soft between the enclosure and the wall. Like some foam, that way it will not rattle the metal so bad.

i work in a foam factory that produces lots of scraps....hmm.....
i was just wondering what you oculd do to get around b/c one of my friends has a ranger (poor guy) with two orion hcca comp 15s and 2400 watts on thema nd they dont' seem to rattle as bad as my single 12, maybe it's just b/c it's so loud in there it drowns it out. i'll see if he has sound dampening mats.
