Message: It is the plastic piece to the right or left of your side mirrors. It is easy to remove and mount things too. That is why people use it.

Message: It`s the plastic trim that covers the metal post holding up your roof on the front of your truck. It`s on both sides of the front windshield.
The most common name for them are the window posts , or pillars.
The "sali panel" is normally thought as the area behind the rear most side glass on a veh. , between the rear window...that is also the area in the rear that supports the roof panel.
Hope this helps , and doesn`t cause more confusion.

Message: In the context always seen here, the sail panel is the triangular part of the door panel covering the sides of the door mirrors. It looks like a sail. It is where the tweeters are mounted on '01 and '02 daks when you order the Infinity system.

Message: Sorry , not familiar with that context. Been in the paint and auotbody business for 12 yrs. and what I said earlier is how they have always been refered to. There are "A "pillars , "B" pillars and "C" pillars , door pillars ,sail panels ,etc..
But anyway , I`m sure the "sailpanel" that you would want to put tweeters on is indeed the area behind the side mirrors.
Good day!

Message: Scott,
I defer to your experience on the terminology, I was just trying to help answer the original question about what people HERE were talking about when mounting tweeters. I think we both did that.
