Anyone have any experience with Ultimate Sound speakers? I have run into a few of their products online (TF650 and PS6515 would probably be the ones that fit the Daks).
Any info would be appreciated, especially good/bad experiences.

They are not that popular of a brand, but I have seen them used in a couple of installs. I don't think anyone has ever mentioned them on this forum. But if the price is right and you know they will sound better the factory speakers go for it.
Try to find a audio store that sells them and see what they say about them.

Thanks R/Truck. I've looked for reviews on-line, but haven't seen much. I'll check a few local audio shops.
I know that the freq. response on the TF650 is 60-25K Hz and the sensitivity is 90db (60 watts RMS - 120 peak). They have a injection molded cones, butyl rubber surrounds, and titanium tweeters.
What I've seen is that this set ranges anywhere from $35 to $80. To me, $35 looks like a good deal if the specs are legit, but I'd like some opinions before I drop the money.

Well, I ordered those speakers and received them in one day. So, of course, I had to put them in!
They are much crisper than the factory speakers, but tend to still distort at higher volumes - which I guess can be expected for $35. Any ideas on minimizing distortion with these? I'll consider a pair for the rear if I can clean the sound up a little bit. My stereo is a Rockford Fosgate RFX9200 (25 rms - 40 max). These speakers have a cleaner sound, but I want to go deaf and still have good bass.

Bass Blockers or foam baffles may help, you need to get the bass out of the front speakers.
Next time your get $100-150 go and get some other speakers for the front and throw those in the back (faded out a little)

Iam from the uk, I brought a pair of ultimate ps6515 speakers from a local audio dealer, i had never heard of them before and only purchased them because the sales person said that they had heard them and that they sounded good. I was also told that they were a good american compnay that not many people had heard of.
So i got them fiited in the rear of my car. And to my suprise thay sound very good. They do slightly distrort at a high voloume, but not to mind because all speakers distort if not run by a powerful head unit or amp.
I probablay paid twice as much for them them then what the americans might pay for.
But I think they are pritty impressive.

LET ME TELL U I BOUGHT A SET OF6\9 ON U BID AS A SECOND SET AND I NEVER HEARD OF THEM BEFORE BUTI WAS TRYING A SET OF THUMPS 80 OZ MAGNETS 6.9S I THOUGHT THEY WERE BETTER.I HAVE ROCKFORD FOSGATE MP3 STEREO WITH 600 WATT PUNCH AMP.WITH ALL THE BASS I HAD TO TURM IT AS LOW AS I COULD TO HANDLE THE POWER.AFTER 3 MONTHS I TRYED THE ULTIMATES AND I WAS SHOCKED HOW MUCH BETTER THEY WERE WITH HANDLING THE BASS N THE HIGHS I HAD TO FIND SOME FOR MY TRUCK N I BOUGHT ULTIMATE 5" COMPONENT SYS A SET OF 5 1/4S AND ANOTHER SET OF 6\9S.THIS SHOULD TELL U I WAS IMPRESSED N I HAVEN'T BEEN DISAPOINTED JUST AMAZED AT THERE PRODUCTS .U GET WHAT U PAY FOR N I HAVE SOME SERIOUS TUNES IN MY TRUCK N MY RIVIERA WITH PUNCH AMPS IN BOTH.
